my favorite outfit here is Hanna Gaby's take on menswear layering. what a gorgeous mix of tones, textures and lengths. 

I will be taking inspiration from this as I get ready for drinks with a new friend tonight. 

as I am such a homebody, i enjoy the few opportunities that I do take to dress up and try styling my own clothing in new and interesting ways. 

i often find inspiration for future shoots from bits and pieces in my own closet. 

but I love to draw on others' interpretations of their clothing and style as well.
