chloe fall 2006
this collection, from a team of designers struggling to pick up the pieces after the departure of Phoebe Philo, remains one of my go to shows for inspiration and ideas on shape, color and style.
while this particular show received fairly dishonorable reviews from the likes of Vogue's Sarah Mower, I remain steadfast in my love for it.
it is very interesting to look back at a brand like Chloe, who has had a string of designers in the last decade, and see the slow progression and changes that have been made over the years.
i am very late in welcoming Phoebe Philo back to the design world, but nonetheless want to offer my gratitude that such an influential design brain is creating new things for us to fall in love with.
here are a few examples from her newest line for Celine.
