I want to preface this post by saying that as a child I loved this damn book
'where the wild things are'
which is why, when I saw it adapted to film a few days ago, I was so completely disappointed.
the cinematography was a huge feat...beautiful, creative and totally original.
but the overall content and feel of the movie was raw, depressive and somewhat stagnant. i was redeemed a bit upon stumbling onto this spread with Abbey Lee shot by Daniel Jackson.
how truly beautiful and whimsical is this?!
