morning~

I woke this morning to the most unusual sound. something between the cry of a child and the moan of a dog. i went outside to investigate and came across a pair, or a couple really, of peacocks. they were gently meandering around my roof, picking off the occasional caterpillar as they fell from our enormous walnut tree.
such a strange way to wake up in the city... a very good start to the day I think
